It's hurricane season and JPEFCU is offering you a $1,500 special loan so you can have the extra cash for supplies or to move your family to safety in the event an evacuation is necessary.

All Hurricane Preparedness Loans will be charged a non-refundable $35 Application Fee that must be paid prior to loan processing.

After applying, current paycheck stubs can be submitted via:

 

*Bi-weekly payment is $65.24 at 17.99% APR for 12 months with credit insurance. This estimate assumes the loan is disbursed on 5/4/26, with bi-weekly payments starting 6/5/26. To qualify, members must have five years of continuous membership, be current on all accounts, have no delinquencies of 60 days or more on any JPEFCU loan in the past 12 months, and must not have caused a loss to the credit union or be in default (including missing insurance coverage on vehicle or mortgage loans). Only one Hurricane Preparedness Loan (HPL) is allowed per member. If you have an existing HPL, the balance will be deducted from the new loan proceeds. Members may have no more than two non-credit qualifying loans at a time. This is offered as a courtesy to members in good standing and is not automatically approved.
